Nero AI Consulting LLC ("Nero", "we") runs this website. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Questions go to mina@neroaiconsulting.com.

What we collect

When you complete the diagnostic or contact form

  • Your name, work email, company and company website. Your phone number, if you give it.
  • Your answers to the diagnostic questions (company size, the issue you are facing, how many systems and people are involved, and similar).
  • A record of the consent you gave, with the exact wording you saw, the time, your browser's user-agent string and a one-way hash of your IP address. We store the hash, not the address.
  • Whether you opted in to occasional emails from us. That box is unticked by default.

When you book a call

  • Bookings are made on this site and scheduled through Cal.com. We receive the booking's time, its status (booked, rescheduled, cancelled) and the name and email you entered.

When you browse the site

  • A first-party cookie, nero_vid, holding a random identifier. It lets us connect your visits to a later enquiry and lasts about 13 months. It is not shared with advertisers, and the site loads no third-party analytics or advertising scripts in your browser.
  • The pages you view, the site that referred you, any campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source), and clicks on our main buttons, all tied to that identifier.
  • Basic technical logs (for example a failed request), kept for at most 30 days.

Analytics

  • Our analytics run on our own servers from the records above. We may also send a copy of usage events to PostHog (analytics) from our server. That copy contains no name, email, company or phone: only the random visitor identifier or an internal record id, the page path, campaign tags, and summary facts such as which offer a diagnostic pointed to, your company-size band, or which call type was booked.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare for and hold the call you booked, and follow up about that request.
  • To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us, so we can improve the site.
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse.
  • To send occasional notes on revenue systems, only if you opted in. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.

We do not sell your information or share it for others' advertising.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers, each only to run this site:

  • Vercel: hosts the website.
  • Neon: hosts our database (United States, AWS us-east-1).
  • Cloudflare: Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person, and Cloudflare runs a scheduled task for us.
  • Cal.com: scheduling. Calls use Google Meet and are placed on our Google Workspace calendar.
  • Resend: sends the notification emails generated by the site.
  • PostHog: product analytics, only the de-identified usage events described above, if enabled.
  • Google Workspace: our email.

Each provider handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiry, booking and consent records: for as long as we have a business relationship or might reasonably follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Technical logs: at most 30 days.
  • The nero_vid cookie: about 13 months in your browser. You can delete it at any time.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction, deletion: email mina@neroaiconsulting.com and we will respond within 30 days.
  • Marketing emails: unsubscribe from any email, or tell us by email.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site still works without them.

Depending on where you live (for example California, or the EU and UK), you may have further rights under local law. We will honour requests made under those laws.

Where data is processed

Our providers process data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, your information is transferred to the US.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date.
